As friendship break-ups go, the apparent split between Selena Gomez and Jenner sisters Kylie and Kendall has been the source of a huge amount of drama this last week.
But according to a new report, the trio were never even that tight in the first place.
US gossip outlet HollywoodLife suggests that Selena was essentially a prop for the Keeping Up With The Kardashians stars in a bid to "enhance their brand".

Their source says: "Kylie & Kendall live in such a fantasy world with what the show has turned their family into.
"At the end of the day, Selena was there just to be a part of the show and enhance their brand rather than just being legit friends."
They added: "Thankfully Selena realised that she was being used and got out."
Selena actually unfollowed every single person she was following on Instagram, but it was the Jenners with whom she has allegedly had beef.
Yesterday Khloe Kardashian seemed to fire warning shots in her direction, writing on Twitter: "You want to play in the 20 year old pool... Well I'm still in my 20s & I'm better at this game than you. Don't f**k with my little sisters!"
