Justin Bieber got grilled like a hibachi steak as he passed through U.S. Customs in Los Angel! es on Thursday after a trip to Japan.

The singer underwent secondary questioning at LAX airport — "routine" for travelers with open criminal cases, a well-placed source told the Daily News.

Bieber's party van and entourage were stuck at the airport curb for an hour Thursday when TMZ.com first reported the travel trouble.

"This kid is turning into a male Lindsay Lohan," an LAX police source said Thursday.

Bieber, 20, faces a DUI charge in Miami Beach and an assault charge in Toronto.

Los Angeles prosecutors are mulling a possible vandalism case against Bieber over an alleged egg assault.

Cops believe Bieber egged his neighbor's pricey mansion in Calabasas, Calif., on Jan. 9, causing enough damage to warrant a felony prosecution, sources said.

Bieber drew criticism during his time in Japan after posting social media photos of his visit to a controversial Tokyo war shrine.

The history-challenged heart throb apparently didn't know the shrine celebrates World War II leader Gen. Hideki Tojo and other figures later deemed war criminals.

Bieber posted a snap of the Yasakuni shrine on his Instagram account but later took it down. 'Thank you for your blessings,' the 20-year-old star tweeted as he posted the picture, showing the backs of two people standing in front of the massive shrine pavilion.

He later deleted the photos and apologized for mistaking the shrine for a place of prayer.
