Stop worrying, Brian Williams and Jimmy Fallon: Rapper Snoop Dogg is laaaaaid back about your Monday-night take on his 1996 Grammy-nominated hit, "Gin and Juice."
The musician tweeted his positive response on Tuesday morning, after the "Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" aired a video made up of words Williams said on various "NBC Nightly News" broadcasts, all mashed up to make it seem that he was rapping the classic song.
Fallon was quick to thank Snoop for the praise.
In the past, Fallon has presented Williams covering other tunes, including "Rapper's Delight," "Bust a Move," and "Straight Outta Compton."
NBC News correspondent Kate Snow, who appears in the video, also tweeted about the reaction she's been receiving since the video aired.
And the network's chief foreign correspondent, Richard Engel, who also appears in the segment, also tweeted out the video.
Meanwhile, "Tonight Show" film research coordinator John MacDonald, who Fallon and Williams joked about on air as the mastermind of the video, thanked the segment's participants for providing him with the right vocabulary to piece the musical puzzle together.
