The actress will star in another David O. Russell film...
Jennifer Lawrence will once again team up with director David O. Russell, for a film set to be released in 2015 called Joy. In what will be her third role in a David O. Russell film, Jennifer will play Joy Mangano, the inventor of the Miracle Mop who became a millionaire basically overnight after debuting the product on home shopping network QVC.
Jennifer recently discussed the role during an appearance on Live! With Kelly and Michael, revealing that she was offered the part in a very strange (and casual) way.

"[David] recently texted me at, I think, 4 in the morning, and was like, 'I think I want to make a movie about the woman who invented the [Miracle] Mop. You want to do it?' And I was like, yeah," she said.
Jennifer, who previously starred in David's films Silver Lining Playbook and American Hustle, said that David probably came up with the idea for the movie almost as casually as he asked her to star in it.
"I could just imagine David looking at somebody mopping and being like, 'Yeah, that's my next screenplay,'" she said.
The movie is slated for release around Christmas 2015.
Christie Miranne, the daughter of Joy Mangano, recently told Newsday that her mother is thrilled to have J-Law and David O. Russell attached to the film.
"She's very, very excited and honored," she said. "There's no more talented an actress than Jennifer Lawrence right now and nobody more talented as a writer and director that David O. Russell right now. It's just too good to be true, on all levels."
Jennifer is currently filming part two of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay. Part one will be released in November.
