Elsa's love of cold climates will serve her well when the hit animated move "Frozen" becomes a live touring show for Disney on Ice.
Feld Entertainment, which produces live touring family spectaculars, including shows under the Disney on Ice banner, announced this week that the touring version of "Frozen" is scheduled to launch in September in Orlando, Fla., at the Amway Center.
"Frozen" will mark the company's 34th Disney on Ice show. The production will feature ice-skating versions of the characters from the animated movie, as well as appearances by Mickey and Minnie Mouse and other popular Disney characters.
The production will also in! clude sing-along performances of the Oscar-winning song "Let It Go," plus "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" and "Fixer Upper."
Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, who directed the movie, said in a statement that they would be consulting with the creators of the ice-skating version.
