Miley Cyrus may be getting a phone call from Morrissey soon as the 'Wrecking Ball' singer boldly covered The Smiths' hit single 'There Is A Light That Never Goes Out' during her 'Bangerz' show in Belfast this week.
The 21-year-old brought the tour to Belfast's Odyssey Arena for its penultimate show on Monday and is typical of her shows these days, Miley broke away from the set list to sing a cover of one of her favourite songs.

Swaying around the stage and even whipping out her phone to capture the moment, Miley crooned along with her husky vocals to the popular track, which features on The Smiths' 1986 album 'The Queen Is Dead.'
Miley's controversial cover has received a mixed response from fans with @nutellaqueen69 commenting: "Watching a video of miley cyrus singing the smiths has made me feel queasy," while @Salvatonio added: "Miley Cyrus attempting to cover The Smiths is just wrong. Step back, and stick your tongue back out."
However, @CatieMuranaka is in her corner, and chimed in: "MILEY CYRUS SANG THERE IS A LIGHT THAT NEVER GOES OUT BY THE SMITHS MY LIFE IS NOW COMPLETE."
@davidmccrindle also stated: "You don't have to listen to Miley Cyrus covering The Smiths if you don't want to."
