The Voice Coaches Get Emotional As Final Three Head Into Battle

There's just a few hours to go until The Voice US finds its winner, but that hasn't stopped the coaches making a last ditch attempt to win votes for their acts.

Jake, Christina and Josh all took to the stage on Monday ahead of tonight's big finale and while we'll have to wait and see who the public crowns as their winner, the coaches, obviously, have their favourites!

Adam Levine's contestant Christina Grimmie has wowed with her powerhouse renditions, with her coach gushing to People that his singer has "got amazing instincts."

"All of the things that she thought of that were so inventive and cool, you can't teach that. I coached her on more of a presentation level."

Usher meanwhile has got Josh Kaufman's back with the two becoming great friends during the course of the show: "Something just clicks," says Josh. "There is a chemistry there. We have a similar approach to things, we understand things in a similar way and when he gives me a pointer, it's more than just a pointer." Usher returns the praise calling his finalist "courageous,", adding that he "represents something different."

"Josh's win [would change] how people look at The Voice, he said. "[I'd love to] be remembered as being the first coach other than Blake or Adam to win ... [but also] being able to do something that would shake the world up."

And what about Jake Worthington? Well it sounds like the singer doesn't want to leave his mentor Blake Shelton anytime soon! "His eyes, does that not turn you on?" he joked. "I never would've thought I'd be friends with him," adds the talented singer. "He's really just inspired me to want to stay true to myself."

The Voice US Winners: Where Are They Now?

Javier Colon (WENN): Season One: Javier was the first winner of The Voice back in 2011, having been mentored by Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine. Since his win, Javier went on to release his album, Come Through For You. However, nearly a year after winning, Javier parted ways with Universal (who has signed him when he won the show) In 2013, Javier decided to use his experience from his time and victory on The Voice to resent a weekly broadcast show on the Back9Network.
