American Idol's Caleb Johnson And Jena Irene 'Really Don't Care' About Victory - Entertainmentwise

The American Idol final is just days away but finalists Caleb Johnson and Jena Irene have confessed that they're not really that bothered about winning.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the finalists revealed that they're concentrating on giving the best performances that they can. Insisting that everyone is a winner in the competition, Caleb said:

"We really don't care who wins. American Idol is just a title.

"We want to give the best possible performances both nights and make it a memorable season. We've all won. Not just us but everybody who's been on the show this season, with the experiences we've had and the knowledge we've gained about the industry and the friends that we've made."

Despite having to go up against each other, Jena added that she will be focused on making sure she gives a good show. She added:

"No matter what place we get, whether it's first or second, I want to go out on a good note. I don't want to have a bad performance or have something I wish I would have done differently."

Jena, whose performances on American Idol have wowed the judges - including Jennifer Lopez - week after week, also revealed that she is happy with her winner's single. Praising the record label for choosing the right song for her, Jena continued:

"We were given songs by the label which was good because during this whole process they have gotten to know what kind of artists we are and what kind of songs we would like to sing post-American Idol.

"They fit us pretty well so I'm really happy and it's really cool that they were released a week early so people could be familiar with the songs."

Who do you think is going to win American Idol?
