Angelina Jolie is famous for many reasons.
Not only is the 38-year-old beauty a movie star, but she's also a humanitarian who currently serves as special envoy for the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and she inspired countless woman last year when she revealed her decision to undergo a preventative double mastectomy.
And in a new interview with Good Morning America's George Stephanopoulos, the A-lister opened up about a number of different topics, including her upcoming flick, Maleficent, her wedding to Brad Pitt and even politics while also giving fans an update on her health.
First up? Her highly-anticipated Disney film which also stars Elle Fanning, and Jolie reveals how she finally perfected the Sleeping Beauty villain's voice.
"I didn't know what to do with the voice … so when I give my kids a bath at night I would tell them stories in different voices," she said, adding that when she did "this particular voice they couldn't stop laughing."
"The bigger I got, the more they laughed," Jolie, who also admitted that she didn't relate to princesses as a little girl and described Maleficent as "elegant."
While this is Jolie's first film role in four years, the brunette beauty has hardly stayed out of the spotlight. She made headlines last year after she courageously revealed her decision to undergo a preventative double mastectomy—a move which likely changed more lives than just her own.
"I really didn't know how people would react," she said. "I wasn't worried about it, but I didn't expect there to be so much support. And I was very moved by it...It's connected me so much to other families, other women."
She added, "And you know, and now when I meet people, we don't talk as much about films, but we talk about their children, or women's choices, or their wives. It's been a really beautiful journey."
The Oscar winner also continues to make headlines for her humanitarian work, most recently donating $50,000 to the Red Cross to aid flood relief efforts in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia.
Asked whether she would ever consider entering politics, the movie star replied, "You know, if I thought I'd be effective, I would. But I'm not sure if I would ever be taken seriously in that way, and be able to be effective."
And last but certainly not least was the topic of Brad and Angie's wedding as the busy parents of six try to find time to tie the knot.
"We don't have a date, and we're not hiding anything, but we really don't know. We talk to the kids about it once in a while. … And one of them suggested paintball. And we thought, 'Well, different,'" she admitted with a laugh.
"So who knows," Jolie continued. "You know, I think the important thing is that whatever we do it's that the kids do have a great time, and we all — you know, take seriously the love, and the connection between all of us. But also just get silly and do something memorable."
