REVIEW: Game of Thrones - Five Things We Learned - Season 4 Episode 5 - 'First Of His Name'

Many in the world of Game of Thrones are still getting over the death of King Joffrey while others are ready to move on and continue with their quest to rule all seven kingdoms.

In this episode we see a collection of our favourite characters as they cope with the ups and downs of surviving against one another and for some, it's all about the revenge. Here are five things we learned from "First Of His Name" which aired last night and it was difficult to choose just these five, it was a packed episode.

1. A new King is crowned

While Joffrey's death for many is still raw, things must go on as normal and the episode opens with the new King, Tommen being crowned as his future Queen (Margaery) looks on from a distance. Tommen, distracted by Margaery is then seen by Cersei who approaches her and discusses the death of Joffrey and how she's still shocked about how much of a "nightmare" he was. Cersei also revealed that she believes Tommen will be the first decent King in several years but he will need help from Margaery if she still wants to be Queen. Of course both of them will need to speak with their parents first though Margaery still seems keen.

2. Daenerys learns about Joffrey and decides what to do next

Word is slowly spreading that King Joffrey has been murdered and Daenerys is the latest to learn of his death when the news arrives though she's more concerned about the new army she has acquired. She wasn't aware of the army as it was done behind her back but it was all for the ships, to help her get as many as possible to King's Landing. She beings weighing up the pros and cons. After she learns that where she previously saved people from slavery have gone back the way to how they were before she decides the best thing for her to do is to be a ruler, to show that people respect her power.

3. Sansa and Littlefinger arrive at her Aunt Lysa's but her visit is a secret

It's no secret that following the death of King Joffrey that while Tyrion is being held for his murder, his wife Sansa's disappearance is making many suspicious. When Littlefinger and Sansa appear at her Aunt Lysa's he lies to the guard and calls her his niece "Elaine" to prevent anyone from becoming suspicious. Sansa almost covers up who she is to Lysa but she knows exactly show she is and welcomes her into her home. Thing's move rather quickly and before we know it Littlefinger and Lysa are married. What is next for Sansa though? Can Lysa be trusted?

4. Tywin and Cersei discuss the next wedding between Tommen and Margaery

Providing Margaery's father gives her permission to get married to another Lannister (which we imagine he will) Tywin explained to Cersei that he wanted it to be a simple marriage, nothing like before, no jugglers, no dwarfs. Both agreed however to give both of them a chance to get over the death of Joffrey and the conversation quickly turns to Cersei's wedding to Loras Tyrell who in previous episodes we've seen she's not overly thrilled about. Their wedding will take place two weeks after Tommen's and they begin talking trust and that the only people they should trust are each other as a family. The Tyrell's are their only true rivals.

5. Arya still wants revenge against everyone including The Hound

In a brief encounter with Arya and The Hound she is seen saying several names before going to sleep, The Hound interrupts and asks what she is doing. Arya explains that she's naming everyone who she wants to kill and tells him she only has one name left. As she rolls over onto her side she says The Hound. Later in the episode The Hound wakes up to find Arya gone but she isn't far away. She's moved away to practice her dancing with her sword which The Hound quickly mocks. The pair get into a heated debate which leads to The Hound showing Arya who is boss.
